A new sustainable social learning model has emerged on the sunny East Coast of Australia. The Peter Coaldrake Education Center, designed by Henning Larsen and Wilson Architects for Queensland University of Technology, draws inspiration from surrounding campus activities and injects new vitality into traditional academic models.

这座学院建筑将教室、研究和办公设施分层布置，并环绕在一个拔地而起的通风中庭周围，梯田式的景观中庭连接着大学图书馆和主要道路，使教育中心成为了校园的社交中心，将学术空间建立在积极社交活动的基础上，打造出一个令人难忘、可持续、互联互通的设施，在积极协作的环境中提供新的教学和学习机会。

This 11000 square meter 6-story building features a layered layout of classrooms, research, and office facilities, surrounded by a rising ventilated atrium. The terraced landscape atrium connects the university library and main roads, making the education center the social center of the campus. Building the academic space on the basis of active social activities, it creates an unforgettable, sustainable, and interconnected facility, Provide new teaching and learning opportunities in an actively collaborative environment.

智能技术定义了建筑的社交和学术空间，同时也塑造了建筑的基本设计。建筑整体由玻璃幕墙组成，除了可以在室内达到充足的照明效果，建筑的自动遮阳、重叠交错的铝板和倾斜的外部百叶窗有助于减少进入内部的太阳辐射，并减少对能源密集型气候控制系统的整体依赖。

Intelligent technology defines the social and academic spaces of buildings, while also shaping the basic design of buildings. The entire building is composed of glass curtain walls. In addition to achieving sufficient lighting effects indoors, the building’s automatic shading, overlapping aluminum panels, and sloping external louvers help reduce solar radiation entering the interior and reduce overall dependence on energy intensive climate control systems.

ALTOP为其提供的玻璃幕墙以及自主研发的整套遮阳铝板系统，这些遮阳措施预计将使太阳辐射热量减少40%，从而达到可持续目标，并荣获澳大利亚绿色建筑委员会的绿色星级5级评定。

The glass curtain wall and self-developed complete sunshade aluminum panel system provided by ALTOP are expected to reduce solar radiation heat by 40%, achieving sustainable goals, and have been awarded a green star rating of 5 by the Australian Green Building Council.

昆士兰科技大学（QUT）的Peter Coaldrake教育中心建成后大获成功，被评为布里斯班的“年度建筑”，还获得了教育类别的詹妮弗·泰勒奖，以及可持续发展和室内设计类别的州奖。

The Peter Coaldrake Education Center at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) was successfully completed and was named Brisbane’s “Architecture of the Year”. It also won the Jennifer Taylor Award in the education category and the state awards in the sustainable development and interior design categories.

昆士兰科技大学（QUT）的Peter Coaldrake教育中心的建成，不仅提高了学生的学习体验，也是一种新的教育理念的产生，将会为昆士兰大学带来无限可能。

The completion of the Peter Coaldrake Education Center at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) not only enhances students’ learning experience, but also creates a new educational concept that brings infinite possibilities to the University of Queensland.
