The “Heart of Doha” project is the world’s first sustainable urban renewal project, covering an area of 31 hectares. The “Heart of Doha” hopes to regenerate this once urban core, in order to stimulate future urban revitalization on a larger scale. The project will utilize the latest sustainable technologies and adhere to the highest standards of green building to complete the project.
In Doha, the daytime temperature can easily rise to 50 ° C. In order to achieve optimal thermal comfort within the building space, screens from traditional Qatari architecture are installed outside glass doors and windows to ensure sun shading, insulation, and natural ventilation, limiting the temperature to below 32 ° C. ALTOP is responsible for the overall exterior facade, curtain wall and window systems, screen systems, and sliding door systems of its building. With the support of screen aluminum panels, the building not only meets the daily lighting needs, but also effectively reduces solar radiation, thereby reducing the need for cooling, adhering to the concept of sustainable development.
From the Heart of Doha to the Doha Metro Station, ALTOP has twice participated in important construction projects in Qatar. ALTOP’s expertise and responsibility are deeply loved by the general contractor, and a long-term cooperative relationship has been established.
